Update: July 8, 2020

Southwest Hockey has re-scheduled the Annual General Meeting, in alignment with AHS guidelines.

AGM is scheduled for: Thursday July 30, 2020 @ 7:00pm, Cardel Rec South in the gymnasium - in order to support social distancing.

The AGM will be reviewing last year's season only.

In an effort to reduce contact there will be no documents provided at the meeting.

Please note: There will be no discussions at the AGM about the upcoming season. Information about the upcoming season will be communicated to members via email; as it becomes available.

Pre-Registration is Required: With AHS restrictions, there are limits to the number of attendees permitted. At this time, only one (1) member per family can attend - which will allow a broader reach of families who would like to come to the AGM. If you plan on attending the AGM, you must email the Administrator to reserve your spot.

Deadline to reserve is: Monday July 27th 10:00pm.

  • Include: FIRST and LAST names of ALL your players AND their HCR ID #'s
  • Include the member FIRST and LAST name of who will be attending
    Check in will also be required.

As a result of the COVID 19 pandemic the meeting scheduled for May 14th has been postponed. 

We will be in touch once a new date has been confirmed in alignment with government recommendations.

We do need to continue moving forward with Association business.  There are number of volunteer opportunities available that need to be filled.  Please consider one of the many open positions identified here.

Nominations are being accepted for the following open positions: 

  • Vice President Off-Ice
  • Assistant Director of Coaches
  • Assistant Director of Fundraising
  • Assistant Director of Volunteers
  • Assistant Treasurer

DEADLINE: April 20, 2020 @ 10:00pm to submit a nomination. 


Nomination Acceptance Forms will be sent by the Administrator, once a Nomination Form is received.

In order to qualify being added to a ballot for possible voting, you must accept the nomination by completing the "Nomination Acceptance Form" sent to you by the Administrator by the noted deadline.

DEADLINE: May 1, 2020 @ 10:00pm, to submit acceptance.

Board Coordinators

Board Coordinator positions are appointed by the Executive. If you are interested, submit a ‘Cover Letter’ highlighting your skills and experiences and how they would be beneficial to the Association.

Cover Letters are being accepted for the following Board Coordinator positions:

  • Evaluation Coordinator *New*
  • House League Coordinator
  • Referee Coordinator
  • Social Media Coordinator
  • Sponsorship Coordinator *New*

Year End Financial Review

We require two (2) volunteers to complete this task.

Duties of the Year End Financial Review include but are not limited to:

▪ Reports to the Treasurer/Secretary.
▪ Reviews the financials.
▪ Should have a financial background.

YE Financial Review Volunteers are categorized as Option #1 – Full Credit with regards to Volunteer Bond Fulfillment.
