Annual General Meetings

As a volunteer‑driven association, Southwest Hockey relies on the dedication and leadership of our members. The Annual General Meeting is an important opportunity for our community to come together, review the past season, and participate in shaping the future direction of the association. This includes the election of Directors and the appointment of Board Coordinators who support key areas of our operations.

For the 2026 Annual General Meeting, several positions are open:

Board of Directors

Members may submit nominations for roles including Vice President Off‑Ice, Director of Fundraising, Director of Volunteers, Assistant Director of Coaches, Assistant Director of Development #1, Assistant Director of Fundraising, and Assistant Director of Volunteers .

The nomination process includes a Nominator submitting the online form, followed by a required Nomination Acceptance from the Nominee.

Notable dates include:
  • Nominations Open: April 9, 2026
  • Nominations Close: April 23, 2026
  • Nomination Acceptance Deadline: April 30, 2026

board coordinators

The House League Coordinator and Photography Coordinator positions are open for appointment. Interested members must submit a Cover Letter outlining their skills and experience. Submissions are accepted April 9–30, 2026, after which the Executive will review all applications and contact candidates accordingly .
