ABOUT THE U5 CUBS PROGRAM
At this stage, the focus is NOT on competition or outcomes, but on:
- Learning basic skating and puck skills
- Building confidence on the ice
- Having fun with teammates
- Creating positive early experiences with hockey
We believe these early experiences play an important role in helping kids develop a lifelong passion for the game, and it has been great to see the smiles, effort, and improvement from our CUBS players all season long.
No previous hockey experience is necessary. Participants must be able to get up and down on their own without assistance, and should be able to 'shuffle' across the ice without assistance prior to registering for this program".
There is limited space in this program so register early to avoid disappointment.
JOIN WITH A FRIEND!! Registration is open to participants from ANY community! You do NOT have to reside in the Southwest Hockey boundaries to register for this program.
