🏒 WELCOME TO THE COUGAR FAMILY, RANDY!

Southwest Hockey Association is excited to welcome and announce Randy Cave as our new Hockey Operations Manager!

Randy is no stranger to Southwest Hockey. As our On-Ice Lead since 2023, he has already played an important role in the development of our players through Prep Camps, Skills Development, CUBS, Academy, Intro to Body Contact and evaluations.

Now, Randy is bringing that experience into an expanded, ongoing role focused on elevating player development, supporting our coaches and helping strengthen hockey operations across the association.

With more than a decade of experience in elite player development and coaching mentorship, Randy has worked with programs including the Okotoks Oilers, Calgary Royals, Girls Hockey Calgary and Global Sports Group, specializing in skills development, power skating, strength and conditioning, tactical development and coach mentorship.

His impressive hockey resume also includes an AJHL Championship and Playoff MVP honours with the Red Deer Rustlers, along with extensive experience developing players from grassroots hockey through elite and junior levels.

We’re excited to have Randy continuing his work with Southwest Hockey in this new capacity and look forward to the impact he will have on our players, coaches and programs for years to come.
