2021 AGM Announcement: April 12, 2021

The Southwest Hockey Association Annual General Meeting will be held in alignment with AHS guidelines.

AGM is scheduled for:

Date: Thursday May 13, 2021

Time: 7:00pm MST

Location: Zoom Webinar 

Process: Due to the current restrictions announced by the Government we are unable to host the AGM in person.

 

Required Documents;

 

Pre-Registration is Required: If you plan on attending the AGM, you must email the Administrator to reserve your spot.

Deadline to Pre-Register is: Sunday May 9, 2021 by 10:00pm.

To RSVP for Pre-Registration

  • Subject Line: AGM - Attendance Request
  • If each parent would like to attend and vote you will each need to RSVP from your specific email address.

Once your request has been verified and approved you will receive the link to attend the meeting via an email from the Administrator.

  • If you have not received your link to the meeting by Tuesday, May 11th at 10:00pm then please contact the Administrator at admin@southwesthockey.ca to follow up.

Board of Directors

Nominations are being accepted for the following open positions: 

  • Director of Evaluations
  • Assistant Director of Branding
  • Assistant Director of Development
  • Assistant Director of Evaluations
  • Assistant Director of Fundraising
  • Assistant Treasurer

DEADLINE: April 26, 2021 @ 10:00pm to submit a nomination. 


Nomination Acceptance Link will be sent by the Administrator, once a Nomination is received.

In order to qualify being added to a ballot for possible voting, you must accept the nomination by completing the "Nomination Acceptance" sent to you by the Administrator by the noted deadline.

DEADLINE: May 2, 2021 @ 10:00pm, to submit acceptance.

Board Coordinators

Board Coordinator positions are appointed by the Executive. If you are interested, submit a ‘Cover Letter’ highlighting your skills and experiences and how they would be beneficial to the Association.

Cover Letters are being accepted for the following Board Coordinator positions:

  • House League Coordinator
  • Referee Coordinator
  • Social Media Coordinator

Year End Financial Review

We require two (2) volunteers to complete this task.

Duties of the Year End Financial Review include but are not limited to:

▪ Reports to the Treasurer/Secretary.
▪ Reviews the financials.
▪ Should have a financial background.

YE Financial Review Volunteers are categorized as Option #1 – Full Credit with regards to Volunteer Bond Fulfillment.
